Defending Defenders Around the World: An Invitation to join Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada and support its work

LRWC invites lawyers, law students and others to become members of Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada and to support its work through donations

LRWC members defend the rule of law and human rights advocates around the world

The work done by LRWC is made possible by the pro bono work of members, the support of donors, and cooperation with NGOs around the world. LRWC membership fees allow LRWC to provide pro bono research, education, and advocacy for lawyers and other human rights defenders who are increasingly at risk in many countries in the world.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for LRWC’s work has intensified. LRWC has continued to contribute to the defense of rights of human rights lawyers and defenders throughout 2020, including the lawyers pictured here.
