Claire L’Heureux-Dubé | Honorary Director

The Honourable Claire L’Heureux-Dubé is an eminently distinguished Canadian jurist who was appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada in 1987 after having served for 14 years as a judge in the Québec superior and Appeal courts. Mme L’Heureux-Dubé’s extraordinary contribution to Canadian jurisprudence has been acknowledged by 11 honorary doctoral degrees and many awards including the Order of Canada and the National Order of Quebec. Since retiring from the Supreme Court of Canada in 2002, Mme L’Heureux-Dubé has contributed to many human rights initiatives around the world.
